What of the love I long for?
The stars that promise to stay,
Keep knocking at heaven's door.
Fireflies and bumble bees,
Cats and lions,
All the things I see,
Nothing more than illusions,
I miss the touch of your hand,
When my fingers slips through your hair,
I feel love that was left beyond,
Yet I still care.
Where have all our time gone?
Into the empty space,
Back onto our arms again,
Then it left us with peace.
My love is what keeps me by your side,
To see you smile for the rest of my life,
To hold you through the night,
To be there for you in the name of love.
