A distant paradise

The snow falls like leaves,
The air is cold and shivering,
The lips are in sync but no voice,
All she ever wanted was your loving.

She ran while leaving foot steps behind,
Trying to chase her as you might,
Only emptiness lies beyond,
The day turns itself into night.

He can hear her voice echoed,
Everything that happen are like illusion,
In your memories only lives heartache,
Your eyes are blinded by confusion.

If you had lost your love,
Where will you seek?
If you had lost hope,
Where will you begin to make?

The carousel endlessly going round,
The songs remind you of your childhood,
The only things real about this place is the ground,
It’s the only place where you can be back for good.

Her humming blows through his ear,
Whispering she is not,
Will he ever learn to hear?
Will he ever learn his own fault?
