Uncertain path

To live is to be able to sacrifice,
We hold our love ones close,
Yet our enemy is closer,
We tend to forget how to see with these eyes,
We took so much time and space,
But heaven is still too far.

Once a pure heart,
Now corrupted by deception,
Politics has change its game plan,
No more respect toward religion,
We were taught to look for fame and fortune,
Countless time we wasted out life with enough sin.

Blame it all to the west
Where in truth it’s us,
To choose what to believe in,
We are so obsessed,
And soon some would turn faithless,
Without knowing what went wrong in this world within.

The world is like an advertising space,
No more boundaries,
No limit,
But how long can a man’s faith embrace?
Just pray that we are not one of those lassies,
And that life has no shortcut.

***this poem is written to tell us that the world is slowly changing. we are control by media and politics. we are unaware of what is happening underneath this world stage.***
