The rain cleanses everything,
Our Sorrow,
Our Pain,
Our anger,
The rain cleanses all in between.
Children are playing under the rain,
As though as the world belongs to them,
They vanquish the sorrow in them.
The grounds are muddy,
The trees are shaken,
The winds are as cold as an icy breath.
Birds are seeking shelter in their nest,
Every corner of mother earth is soaked,
The clouds are as dark as my coffee I had this morning.
Thunder slashes its way through the sky,
All I need to do is to wonder why,
Will this rain really purify everything it touches?
Will it bring life back as normal as before?
Will we ever see the same rain again tomorrow?
To those questions I can only say,
It’s just a rain.
