An anniversary that no one remembers.

Sunny beaches
Friendly skies
Warm weather
Cool breeze in the air

At the corner is where she sits
Looking rather sad
Folding pages of dairy she writes
'...when will he understand...'

An old man drinks at the bar
Once a war hero in Tigrid
Now is just a loner
Drinking his life away with regret

A married couple are in an argument
Never to come on a conclusion
Fading memories of such sweet moment
A bond that went stone-cold and beyond

Children are celebrating birthday party
Where actually it is not anyone's birthday
They can only pretend
Laughing their way to uncertainty

Today is my anniversary
All I can see are people with their own matter
Hiding emotions in many ways
Still
Today is not like any other day and that no one bothers to remember
